AIM HIGH Infants & Toddlers Parent Group
     DSAHRC has partnered with the Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC) to bring you our new AIM HIGH Infants & Toddlers Parent Group! The purpose of this group is to provide parents an opportunity to participate in a monthly  informational seminars on a variety of health, education, social and recreational topics and to meet/network with other families. Parents can bring their children! We will have volunteers available in an adjacent room which will be set up with age appropriate toys and activities so children can play,socialize and meet new friends!

Who: Parents of children with Down syndrome ages birth to five
When: Monday,February 6, 2017 6-8 pm
Topic: Fun with Literacy -  This session will provide parents/caregivers with easy strategies and activities that you can do at home to engage your children in literacy. Developing language and literacy skills begins at birth through everyday interactions. You can support your child’s early literacy development by sharing books, telling stories, singing songs and interacting with one another. 
Presenters: Nancy Hampton, Katie Pincher. Nancy and Katie are both Early Childhood Specialist at the Early Childhood Direction Center.
