Topic: Swimming Pool and Pool Services at Center for Disability Services
Are you aware that there is a fully accessible therapeutic pool at the Center for Disability Services, 314 South Manning Blvd. site in Albany? The Center's Director of the Swim Program, Rich Vassi, will be providing an informative overview of how the Center's pool provides the perfect learning environment for children of all abilities. We offer one on one swim lessons  to preschoolers thru adulthood and over the years we have provided hundreds of one on one and group lessons. Our instructors have decades of experience providing lessons to students with developmental disabilities. Our focus is on basic swimming skills, balance, following directions, gross motor development and coordination. The water temperature is 96 degrees! Please come to the meeting to hear more.

Who: Parents, caregivers and professionals who are interested in learning about the Swim program. (Please note that the children's room activities are available and appropriate for children ages birth to 5 only)

 AIM HIGH Infants & Toddlers Parent Group

     DSAHRC has partnered with the Early Childhood Direction Center to bring you our new AIM HIGH Infants & Toddlers Parent Group! The purpose of this group is to provide parents an opportunity to participate in a monthly  informational seminars on a variety of health, education, social and recreational topics and to meet/network with other families. Parents can bring their children! We will have volunteers available in an adjacent room which will be set up with age appropriate toys and activities so children can play,socialize and meet new friends! 

The meetings will be held on the third Friday of the month from now until June 2017 at the Capital Region BOCES, located at 900 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Geneva, Suisse 12205

The meeting time is 6:30pm to 8:30pm
This meetings are free. We encourage families and caregivers to attend. Registration is not required but is very helpful for planning purposes and in case we need to notify you about a change or cancellation.
