Administrative/Membership Committee
This committee will stay in touch with the membership, maintain a comprehensive database, and work closely with the Staff on membership and administrative issues.
The Centre du syndrome de Down (DSAHRC) has an all-volunteer Board of Directors, Professional Staff, and many Volunteers who are involved in one of the eight DSAHRC Committees.
We depend on the time, expertise, ideas and energy that our volunteers bring to the DSAHRC.

This committee will stay in touch with the membership, maintain a comprehensive database, and work closely with the Staff on membership and administrative issues.
The Conference Committee will organize the Annual Beyond Our Wildest Dreams Conference and additional seminars throughout the year.
The Education Committee will work with the Education Coordinator to support families with school and education-related issues, organize Lay Advocacy trainings, and any other relevant educational issues.
The Events Committee will organize events such as the Buddy Walk, Family Picnics, Family Dances, Sporting and Social Events.
The Fundraising Committee will be responsible for the lion's share of the fundraising activities, including Golf Tournament, Corporate Sponsorship Program and the Annual Raffle.
The Legislative Committee will be responsible for updating the membership on legislative issues, and applying for member item contributions.
The Publications and Public Relations Committee will oversee the publication of the News and Notes Newsletter, the DSAHRC website, as well as all other DSAHRC publications. This committee will also coordinate all matters dealing with public relations.
The Self-Advocacy Committee will organize Social Events and develop Self-Advocacy and Disability Awareness Programs. They assist with planning workshops and events for the Annual Beyond Our Wildest Dreams Conference.
